I’m going to start a new feature here. At the end of every week I’m going to post an update of anything and everything I have done during the week to get my career on track. I’m hoping this will hold me accountable and stop me beating myself up that I’m not getting anything done – which maybe I’m not… See what I mean? I need one place, one record, to prove to myself that I’m moving forward and that this is only the set up phase.
Yesterday, I did a mind-map (huge fan of mind-maps!) of my route to becoming an illustrator. Holli Conger’s blog Living the Creative Dream has been an inspiration of a lifetime because she is straight-forward proof that you CAN get what you want out of life if you are willing to work for it. Every time I kick myself that I’m not moving forward, I just have to read any one of her entries to bring me back to reality and think This is normal. So chill! It WILL happen…
So here I am, declaring that I will update this blog with what I’ve done for the week – be it small or large – to move forward. Accountability is everything! Just like a to-do list that gets done. 🙂
